Each year, Members devoted to the real estate profession play an integral role in shaping the future of TRREB and the industry.
At our spring Annual Meeting, President Kevin Crigger awarded three Members with the prestigious David Rossi Committee Service award.
This award is named after TRREB Committee Volunteer and Honourary Life Member David Rossi for his dedication to the real estate industry. In 2007, Rossi was awarded the President’s Award for the contributions he made to not only TRREB, but also the profession itself. Later in 2011, TRREB created the David Rossi Committee Service Award in his honour.
Charlene Williams is currently a Member of the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force. Charlene played a large role in TRREB’s first-of-its-kind groundbreaking research to uncover barriers and discrimination in the industry. Plus, she has also served on numerous Committees over the years, including the Communications and Member Engagement Committee.
Roman Havlin has shown long-standing dedication to the Finance Committee. This Committee relies on the support of Members to ensure there are resources to support our membership, and Roman is no stranger to showing his commitment. He has not only served on the Finance Committee since 2013, but also served on TRREB’s Government Relations Committee.
TRREB also recognized Steven Schmeiser from the Arbitration Roster. Steven participated in both the residential and commercial divisions. He is also a dedicated leader and took on the role of Chair and Vice-Chair for over a decade.
Over 60 Years of TRREB Membership
Ten Members reached over 60 years of TRREB membership. At this virtual event, TRREB President Kevin Crigger acknowledged this incredible milestone.
“You have brought an immense amount of knowledge and experience to our profession, and have been there through immense growth and change,” said Kevin Crigger.
